When I taught 4th grade, teaching point of view was one of my favorite standards to teach. You know why I loved it so much? I knew I could use SO many picture books to introduce the idea of viewing things from many different perspectives. Not only did it allow for an easy lesson that I didn’t have to heavily prepare and prep, but it opened so many opportunities for great classroom discussions. My students were intrigued by each story and were able to see illustrations that accompanied each point of view. The visual representation made it easy for them to understand. It allowed students to understand how authors use their writing voice to portray multiple character’s perspectives.

These are just a few books that I loved using in my classroom!

To purchase books use THIS link (Amazon Affiliate)
